The Tower- Lain Iwakura
The tower is a foreboding card, just as it appears. (Ever see Escaflowne? A certain marriage is subject to impending DOOM according to this card.) I thought Lain would look funny falling off a traditional stone tower, so I tried to simulate an electronic atmosphere with a computer tower. The Tower signifies sudden change, release, downfall, and revelation. Lain serves as a great symbol for this as her world is shaken by some very strange incidents.
